Pretty Chicken Puff

Pretty Chicken Puff is Dr. Wohlers beloved dog and the unofficial mascot of our hospital. A true couch potato, she loves indulging in salty snacks, catching up on naps, and soaking up all the belly rubs she can get.

As the #1 Alabama fan, Pretty Chicken Puff is often found lounging behind the receptionist counter, offering her sweet presence and a little extra comfort to anyone to everyone who walks in. Always ready for a cuddle or snack, she’s a cherished part of the team and brings a special touch to the clinic.

Dr. George W. Scorey

Dr. Scorey joined the practice immediately after graduating from Auburn University in 1975. He became an owner of Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital in 1981. Dr. Scorey retired from ownership in 2019 to spend more time with his 2 children and 7 grandchildren. He has 2 children and 7 grandbabies.

Dr. Kendall Flynt

Dr. Flynt has been a part of our team since 2012. She graduated from the University of Georgia with her doctorate in veterinary medicine. She is married and has 2 daughters. Dr. Flynt enjoys the outdoors, RVing, football season, and Jeeps.

Lorraine Monroe

Lorraine has been with us since 1989. She wears many coats around here. She, along with 3 of our doctors, became the new owner of ATAH in 2019. She is married and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Dr. Christina Sherrill

Dr. Sherrill graduated from Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She is originally from Clarksville, TN, and moved to Chattanooga in May of 2019. Dr. Sherrill enjoys hiking, running, and gardening in her free time. She has 2 cats-—Ichabod and Anastasia—and 1 dog named Stella.

Dr. Kathleen Wohlers

Dr. Wohlers is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is married and has 2 children. She is also an excellent baker and loves hiking and running with her family!

Dr. Lauren Kennedy

Dr. Lauren Kennedy is proud graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2010. A Chattanooga native, Lauren is thrilled to have settled with her family in Chattanooga after several years away.

Lauren and her husband, Eli, are the proud parents of three daughters, two beloved dogs, and one curious leopard gecko. When she's not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her baking up something sweet, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, or planning her family’s next adventure to Disney World.

Dr. Kennedy brings not only her clinical expertise but also a deep love for animals and people alike, and she’s honored to care for the pets in the community she calls home.

Dawn

Dawn is the office manager at our clinic, where she has been a dedicated team member since 1999. With a warm smile and a heart for both people and pets, she helps keep things running smoothly and ensures clients feel welcome and cared for. Dawn lives with her husband Tom, their 2 sons, 2 dogs and 4 cats—making her home as full of life as the clinic. Outside of work, Dawn serves as a chaplain with the local police department and is actively involved in church ministry, bringing compassion and care to all aspect of life.

Linda

Linda joined our team in 2020. She is married and has 3 children, 2 bonus children, and 2 grandchildren.

Chloe, L.M.V.T.

Chloe has been with us since 2018. She is married and has 1 dog and a cat. Chloe loves going to concerts, anything Disney, and baking. 

Andrea, L.V.M.T.

Andrea has been with Ashland Terrace since April 2005. She is a licensed Veterinary Medical Technician that graduated from Chattanooga State in 2009. She currently works in surgery and dentistry.

Ricardo, L.V.M.T.

Ricardo has been with Ashland Terrace since April 2021. He is a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician who graduated from Chatt State Veterinary Technology program and pursued his degree in Veterinary Technology Management from UT Martin and graduated in 2024. With a strong passion for animal care, he is dedicated to providing compassionate and skilled support to both pets and their owners.

Fluent in Spanish, Ricardo is able to connect with a diverse range of clients, ensuring clear communications and comfort. Outside of work he enjoys time with his 2 dogs and 2 cats and is an avid crocheter, creating beautiful pieces in his downtime.

Suzanne

Suzanne has been with us since 2002. She is the heart of our staff and loves each and every patient. 

Faith

Faith has been with us since 2001. She is very passionate about health and fitness. She and her husband have 2 children.

Olivia

Olivia has been with Ashland Terrace since 2018. She is currently pursuing her veterinary technician degree, building on her foundation with A.A.S from Chattanooga State. With a deep passion for Animal care, Olivia is dedicated to providing compassionate support to pets and their families. She shares her home with 3 dogs and enjoys life outside of work with her partner Tristan and their 2 daughters. Olivia is excited to continue her journey in veterinary medicine and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

Lily

Lily has been with us since 2021. She got certified as a vet assistant through her high school. Lily plans on furthering her education in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She loves cats and has 2 of her own.

Casey

Casy has been with Ashland Terrace since June, 2022. She is currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program, working toward earning her license and expanding her knowledge in animal care. With a deep love for animals Casey is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of both pets and their owners.

At home Casey shares her life with 3 dogs and enjoys spending quality time with her partner, Hannah. Outside of work and study, Casey values her downtime, embracing life’s simple pleasures while continuing to grow in her veterinary career.

Ellie - Receptionist & Vet Tech

Ellie is the welcoming face at our front desk and also supports our medical team as a veterinary technician assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has one year of experience in veterinary care. Ellie enjoys helping clients and their pets feel comfortable and supported during their visits.

Christy

Christy has been a vital part of our clinic for over 20 years, welcoming every client with a friendly smile and keeping things running smoothly at the front desk. As the first face you see and the voice on the phone, she helps create a fun and friendly environment for both pets and their people. With her gift of gab and love for connecting with people, Christy brings warmth and ease to every visit.

Outside of work, Christy's favorite thing is spending time with her family. She enjoys life with her husband John, their two daughters, and three wonderful grandchildren. She also loves relaxing at the beach and hanging out with their fun-loving dog, Kevin.

Kate

Kate joined our team in October 2024 and has been a great addition to our team. Kate loves her job and she hopes this is the job she retires from ---if she ever does!

She and her husband Matthew have 1 beloved fur baby named Loki. In her free time, she enjoys gaming, creative writing, acting, painting, connecting with nature and traveling whenever she can.

Jeanette

Jeanette has been a dedicated veterinary receptionist for over 20 years. She is passionate about making every pet feel comfortable and cared for. Her favorite part of the job is building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. When she’s not at the clinic, you will likely find her volunteering at Signal Mountain Playhouse, taking care of her grand-dogs or curled up with a good book and her cat.

Madison

 Madison brings years of experience working with animals to her role as a kennel technician. She is dedicated to ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of every pet in our care. Madison is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary environment and providing attentive care to boarding and hospitalized animals. With a strong work ethic and a genuine love for animals, she helps create a calm and caring experience for our patients. Madison is currently attending Penn Foster School to become a veterinary technician, furthering her commitment to providing exceptional animal care.

When she's not at work, Madison enjoys spending time with her own dog, Axel. Together, they go on car rides, enjoy pup cups, and take on new adventures. Madison is also available for

at-home pet sitting for clients, ensuring pets receive personalized care in the comfort

Michael

Michael has been with the ATAH team since September 2023. He enjoys working with the animals and learning all of their unique personalities.

 Michael enjoys working out and spending time with his girlfriend. He was a cat named Aurora and one dog named Blue.

London

London joined Ashland Terrace in April 2025, and has a deep passion for animal care. She is currently in high school and enrolled in a veterinary assistant certification program, where she is gaining hands-on experience in animal health and wellness. London’s role is to help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for animals, providing daily care and support. In the future, she plans to attend college to earn her veterinary technician license and continue building a career dedicated to helping animals live healthier, happier lives.

Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, drawing, and spending time with my family.
